LEADERSHIP AND ADVOCACY
Megan's Experience as a Proven Leader
I am actively involved in various coalitions and groups weekly, leveraging my extensive experience. These include the Education Coalition Table, LGBTQ+ Coalition, Gun Violence Prevention Coalition, NH Faith and Labor Coalition, Labor Unity Table, NH School Funding Fairness Project, Granite State Progress, Reaching Higher, Breakthrough Manchester, NH Registered Educator Apprenticeship Program, and quarterly labor meetings with Representatives Pappas and Kuster. This continuous partnership allows me to contribute and stay informed on various issues within these vital spheres.

Collaborating with the NEA-NH Executive Board, I take pride in leading efforts to overturn banned concepts and standing against privatizing public education despite opposition from the governor and legislature. With 18 years of classroom experience and over two decades in leadership at NEA-NH, I draw on my teaching background and a comprehensive statewide perspective to inform and guide these crucial decisions.
